About

My name is Jon Hobbs. I am married, with three children.

Having worked in business and as a Policeman, I spent five years as a Regional Staffworker with the Universities and Colleges Christian Fellowship (UCCF) before training for Christian ministry at Oak Hill Theological College in London, and entering church leadership in 2003.

I served as a minister within the Church of England for nine years before becoming minister of Grace Church, Haywards Heath - a church in Sussex, England that belongs to the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC).

Alongside my responsibilities at Grace Church I am employed two days a week as the Associate Trainer of the Sussex Gospel Partnership - a partnership of Bible centered churches that work together in training leaders, strengthening and planting churches, and advancing the gospel.

Outside of local church life I am a member of the Pastors' Network of the FIEC. I sit on the steering committee of the Sussex Gospel Partnership, for which I chair a cluster-group of church ministers and act as champion for church planting and revitalization. In my capacity as Associate Trainer for the Sussex Gospel Partnership I also lecture on the Sussex Ministry Training Courses.
